Illustrated Short Stories, Memories for the Next Generation

The Adventures with Wes stories began at bedtime. When the author’s children were small, they heard true stories about the author and the people in the author’s life, and half the time they didn’t believe a word. Those stories are now illustrated short stories, preserved so they can be read to the next generation and so these simple memories and colorful people are not forgotten.

These are not typical children’s books. Each story is a snapshot, a vignette of real people and real events, leaving readers free to find their own meaning in it. Every story is written by the same author, but each book has its own illustrator, so every book stands on its own. A designer and editor brings the text and illustrations together and sees each book through to publication in print. â˜…
